Marnin Forman, DVM, ACVIM (SAIM)

Dr. Marnin Forman is a graduate of the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and completed his internship at the Animal Medical Center in NYC. Following a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of California-Davis, he stayed on to complete a Fellowship in Nephrology. He received board-certification by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2003. Dr. Forman practiced for several years at a large multispecialty practice in Ohio.

In 2011 Dr. Forman helped establish and is the head of the Internal Medicine department at Cornell University Veterinary Specialists.   Dr. Forman’s clinical focus is rapid and minimally invasive diagnostic testing and therapeutics utilizing advanced labwork, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, computed tomography (CT), endoscopy, and/or laparoscopy.  

Dr. Forman has been actively involved with academia and industry in the development of diagnostic tools for pancreatitis. He has published manuscripts evaluating the next generation of feline and canine pancreatitis testing, as well as book chapters. He has lectured throughout the US on topics including pancreatitis, gastrointestinal disease, kidney disease, liver disease and nasal disorders.

 

Peter Modler, DVM, Dipl.-Tzt., Specialist German Board of Cardiology

Peter earned his veterinary degree (Dipl-Tzt) from the University of Veterinary Medicine in Vienna, Austria, where he also completed a rotating internship and a doctoral thesis (Dr. med. vet.). While working at several referral centers in Austria and Germany, he specialized in small animal surgery and cardiology. He is a board-certified small animal specialist (Fachtierarzt für Kleintiere) and cardiologist (Collegium Cardiologicum). In 2013, Peter founded a cardiology service at Traunkreis Vet Clinic – Tierklinik Sattledt, Austria's largest veterinary hospital, where he has been a co-owner since.

His areas of expertise include cardiac imaging, interventional cardiology, open-heart surgery, trauma surgery, and advanced soft tissue surgery. Peter frequently lectures across Europe and the United States and has co-authored two veterinary textbooks.

Casey J. LeBlanc, DVM, PhD, DACVP (CLINICAL PATHOLOGY)  

Dr. LeBlanc is a clinical pathologist and CEO of Eastern VetPath. His areas of special interest include diagnostic cytopathology and hematopathology. He received his veterinary degree from Louisiana State University in 1996, and then completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at The Animal Medical Center. After his internship, he returned to LSU for his clinical pathology residency and PhD training, completed in 2003.

After working for Antech Diagnostics from 2003-2004, he joined the faculty at the University of Tennessee. During his almost 10 years at UT, Dr. LeBlanc was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure, was actively involved in teaching veterinary students and training residents in clinical pathology, and was recognized with multiple teaching awards. Dr. LeBlanc and his family live in Bethesda, MD.
